• Portugal’s football federation has banned Cristiano Ronaldo for 30 days and fined him £215 for leaving the national team camp in Copenhagen on 2 October.
• He left on the eve of the Nations League match against Denmark, after a dispute with new coach Jorge Jesus. Ronaldo has since apologised and says he is not retiring from international football.
• The coach and the federation president both say they want him back. Portugal’s next match against Denmark is on 14 November, and it is unclear if he can play.

• ডেনমার্কের বিপক্ষে নেশনস লিগ ম্যাচের আগের দিন তিনি দল ছাড়েন। এর আগে নতুন কোচ জর্জ জেসুসের সঙ্গে তাঁর বিরোধ হয়েছিল। রোনালদো পরে দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছেন এবং বলেছেন, তিনি আন্তর্জাতিক ফুটবল থেকে অবসর নিচ্ছেন না।
