• Swiss prosecutors arrested a 43-year-old Bangladeshi man over the killing of his roommate, a 33-year-old Burundian, at an asylum centre in the northern canton of Aargau, The Daily Star reports.
• The victim was reported missing on a Saturday. His remains were later found along the Rhine, and evidence from a police search of the centre pointed to the roommate.
• Prosecutors say the motive is unknown and found no sign of a political or religious motive. No formal charge has been reported, and an arrest is not a finding of guilt.

• এক শনিবার তাঁর নিখোঁজের খবর জানানো হয়। পরে রাইন নদের তীরে তাঁর দেহাবশেষ পাওয়া যায়। আশ্রয়কেন্দ্রে পুলিশি তল্লাশির আলামতে রুমমেটের ওপর সন্দেহ জোরালো হয়।
• প্রসিকিউটররা বলেছেন, হত্যার কারণ এখনো জানা যায়নি। রাজনৈতিক বা ধর্মীয় কারণে ঘটনাটি ঘটার কোনো প্রমাণ পাওয়া যায়নি। এখনো আনুষ্ঠানিক অভিযোগ গঠনের খবর নেই। গ্রেপ্তার মানে দোষী প্রমাণিত হওয়া নয়।
